The History of ARI
Our Legacy: Built on Rock. Driven by Precision.
Since 1978, Bob “BJ” Jeremiah’s vision has shaped how we work: combine drilling, blasting, and crushing under one roof to deliver unmatched control and quality. That vision became BJ Equipment Company—and laid the foundation for what ARI is today: a trusted partner for precision rock work across the U.S.
Still proudly based in Lane County, Oregon, ARI remains family-owned and operated, with the Jeremiah family’s commitment to excellence and field execution embedded in every project we take on.
From the Northwest to Nationwide
Today, ARI operates across the country, supporting customers in mining, infrastructure, data centers, and utility-scale renewables. Whether we’re drilling for solar pile installation, blasting wind turbine foundations, or mobilizing crushing spreads to remote quarries, our crews are built for scale—with systems that support safety, speed, and precision.
What We Do
Drilling & Blasting for mines, quarries, wind, solar, and infrastructure
Pile Pre-Drilling for utility scale solar and transmission
Foundation Rock Excavation for towers, turbines, and utility structures
Dam Demolition Blasting
Utility Trench & Fish Passage Blasting
Portable Rock Crushing
We combine technical expertise with real-time field technology—drone modeling, bore tracking, digital inspections—to ensure each job executes exactly as designed.
Safety Is the System
Our operations meet both MSHA Part 46 and Part 48 standards, and our 0.79 EMR reflects a culture that treats safety as a performance system. With consistent zero-citation inspections, ISNetworld approval, and site-specific planning embedded in every job, we deliver with confidence and control.
Whether you're breaking ground on a new quarry, scaling renewable infrastructure, or tackling a complex excavation, ARI brings the people, tools, and systems to move rock with purpose.
