Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance

ARI’s Vision for its ESG Framework:

• Implements initiatives to protect workers through worker protection, healthcare provision and pollution prevention

• Provides equal opportunities for hiring and career advancement without consideration of gender

• Has plans in place to support domestic cooperation to facilitate clean energy research and technology (e.g. renewable energy, energy efficiency, advanced and cleaner fossil-fuel technology) and promotes investment in energy infrastructure and clean energy technology by 2030

• Is working to identify and remediate child labor and forced labor activities throughout our global supply chain

• Adopts clean and environmentally sound technologies and industrial processes for operations

• Takes actions to support policies to enhance equal opportunity and reduce inequalities of outcomes

• Analyzes the environmental and social footprint of products we produce, both during production and as applied by our customers

• Takes actions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from transportation operations (e.g. fuel-efficient vehicles, lower carbon transportation operations for freight, and optimizing energy efficiency of warehouse activities)

• Commits to and implements responsible sourcing practices for all raw materials and commodities

• Takes actions to assess, identify, and mitigate risk of contributing to corruption, violence, and conflict, and the weakening of the rule of law
