Supply Chain Manager
ARI is seeking a supply chain manager to lead its parts inventory department. The department oversees approximately 5,000 SKUs, including parts, lubricants, filters and consumable supplies, which are primarily utilized to maintain and repair a heavy equipment fleet of nearly 100 pieces of active equipment and over 40 on-road light vehicles and heavy trucks.
Inventory is currently managed within an ERP (Viewpoint Vista), and physical inventory is organized by a QR-Coded bin system throughout buildings in Springfield, OR headquarters and portable trailers and service trucks. A digital inventory catalog is accessible to all employees via ARI’s proprietary Mobile App (Rock It MobileTM), in which they can view scale photos of each SKU, and access the physical bin location information, on-hand and on-order quantities, as well as report inventory usage for work orders and jobs.
The Supply Chain Manager will be charged with deciding proper inventory levels for each SKU, ensuring that inventory usage is properly reported and costed to jobs by end users (most inventory locations do not have access controls), overseeing that deliveries are received in the accounting system and distributed to the proper location, ensuring that inventory is consistently well organized, and working closely with the purchasing department to ensure that orders are timely placed, received, and distributed to end users or stocked in pre-established physical bin locations. This position will work closely with accounting staff to ensure that best practices, such as receiving processes, cycle counts, month-end and year-end counts are performed, documented, and any material adjustments are justified.
